Built by a teacher. Made for people on the move.
Geneva Institute of Languages teaches French to English speakers who need it for something real: a new country, a new job, a degree.
It started with one student at a time.
Before Geneva Institute, Sara taught French one-to-one to more than 200 students. Many came with a deadline: a move abroad, a job offer, a university place.
The ones who got there fastest had two things in common: a clear goal and a clear structure. Most reached the level they needed in 5 to 9 months.
Geneva Institute brings that structure to small groups, so more people can get there, at a fraction of the price of private lessons.
Three ideas behind every class.
Understand before you memorise.
When you see how a sentence is built, you can build a hundred more. Lists of words don't do that.
Structure beats motivation.
Motivation fades in week three. A clear plan, two classes a week and a group that expects you keep you going.
Speak from the first class.
In groups of ten, everyone speaks in every lesson. That's how French stops feeling foreign.
Who you'll work with.

“The goal isn't simply to finish a French course. It's to reach the point where French starts making sense.”
