Your very first steps in French.
For complete beginners. Learn how French sounds, how it's built and the phrases you need on day one, so A1 feels like a next step instead of a wall.
- 200+ students taught
- Max. 10 per class
- Live and recorded
Built for people with a reason to learn.
Our strongest results come from students who needed French for something real. If that's you, you're in the right place.
This is for you if
- You've never studied French, or only know a few words
- French pronunciation intimidates you
- You want a gentle start before committing to a full level
- You're planning a move and want to start early
It's probably not for you if
- You can already introduce yourself and order in French (start at A1)
- You want a casual hobby with no regular classes
By the end of A0, you'll be able to
Each level is the foundation for the next. Nothing you learn is wasted.
- Read French words aloud with the right sounds
- Greet people, introduce yourself and say where you're from
- Use numbers, dates, times and prices
- Get through simple moments: a café, a shop, asking for help
- Understand how French sentences are put together
A system, not a collection of lessons.
Here's what that means, using one sentence you'll need in your first week abroad.
One pattern, not one phrase. Learn Je voudrais + anything once and you can use it at the café, the bank and the town hall.
I'd like a croissant.
Same structure, four real situations. In class, you say it out loud until it stops feeling foreign.
Grammatically correct. Socially, it sounds like an order.
What people actually expect to hear.
An app marks the first one as right. A teacher tells you how it lands. That difference is what makes people sound natural instead of rude.
Un café, s'il vous plaît.A coffee, please.
Je voudrais un café.I'd like a coffee.
Je voudrais réserver une table pour deux ce soir.I'd like to book a table for two tonight.
Je voudrais savoir si le poste est toujours disponible.I'd like to know if the position is still open.
J'aurais voulu en parler avec vous avant la réunion.I would have liked to discuss it with you before the meeting.
Je voudrais souligner que cette décision aura des conséquences à long terme.I'd like to point out that this decision will have long-term consequences.
From ordering a coffee to talking to your manager. Every level builds on the one before, so nothing you learn is wasted.
It's not you. It's the method.
Streaks, not speaking.
You collect words but can't build a sentence when someone actually talks to you.
No path.
Every class covers something new, nothing connects, and you never know if you're progressing.
No one to speak to.
Grammar books explain the rules. They can't correct you or make you say it out loud.
What works is structure, real practice and someone telling you exactly what to fix next.
Your week, made simple.
